Am I not good enough for Google AdSense?

I decided I might as well go the way many others have with their blogs, and decided to add Google's AdSense to help a little with my hosting costs.  So I filled the form in and waited for a week while they decided.  Today, I received this email from them:

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. After reviewing your application, our specialists have found that it does not meet our programme criteria. Therefore, we are unable to accept you into our programme.

We have certain policies in place that we believe will help ensure the effectiveness of Google ads for our publishers as well as for our advertisers. We review all publishers, and we reserve the right to decline any application. As we grow, we may find that we are able to expand our programme to more web publishers with a wider variety of web content.

So the question I ask is, why am I not good enough for Google?  Has anybody else had the same problem?  Why do so many people have AdSense on their blog, but I can't?

I had to have a little rant there to get this off my chest!

Odd!  You should see if you can reply and ask why you were denied and what you could do to resolve it.

Yeah, that's too screwy.  I wonder what would happen if you would apply again?

I understand what you're saying Wiz, but the fact is, it costs money for me to have my site here, so I want a little bit back. ;)

Well if you were hosting your site with the rest of us it wouldn't cost you a thing! :-)

Anyway, that's not the point. I feel offended (by them, not you)!

Probably they had a mistake.  Just contact them to know why they say this.

Regardless of money, Google Adsense is good for site layout :-D

I am sure it's some silly script gone wrong, it's not you. ;-)
