IE6 & IE7 VPC Images Wednesday, November 14 2007
I can't believe I've only just found out these exist, but if you find yourself using Vista and you're stuck with IE7 (or indeed, you're on Windows XP and you have IE7 installed) you'll know that testing your sites against IE6 is a pain. Well Microsoft has made available two Virtual PC images, one with Windows XP & IE6 and another for people still running IE6 wanting to test their sites on IE7 which contains Windows XP & IE7. The best thing is, their pre-activated so you don't need to go through the lengthy process of installing Windows XP and using your own license and using and activation. Don't forget, Virtual PC is free too and you can download the latest version at here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/virtualpc/default.m
You can find both VPC images on this page
