I've finally finished writing the new notifications controls. This control alerts users of new Private Messages using MSN Messenger style popups in Community Server 2.0 and works with Beta 3.
I currently have a few people that are helping me test this control and if all goes well, I will be releasing it within the next few days. There are a load of things I want to do with this control this time round, like adding notifications for other events, such as new posts to subscribed forums etc. I would also really like to add some better theming options so it can be made to fit into any site (I really want it to look good out of the box too, as I don't like the default look)!
